Coronavirus up­date

With the ever chang­ing sit­u­a­tion across the world, daily up­dates, re­stric­tions and dif­fer­ing ac­tions from var­i­ous Gov­ern­ments we want to keep our cus­tomers and part­ners in­formed about the sta­tus at Zanders.

1. Inquiries and orders will continue to be processed as usual.
We are prepar­ing our team to be able to work from home if nec­es­sary and also cre­at­ing teams to split peo­ple re­duc­ing the risk of all work­ing closely to­gether.

2. Production is running.
We are in full op­er­a­tion. All our raw ma­te­r­ial sup­pli­ers are con­firm­ing no is­sues in sup­ply. We are en­forc­ing strict rules within our fac­tory, ac­cept­ing no vis­i­tors un­less op­er­a­tional ne­ces­sity re­quires it to man­age every pos­si­ble sce­nario to en­sure pro­duc­tion con­tin­ues.

3. Deliveries continue.
How­ever, con­sid­er­ing the cur­rent bor­der re­stric­tions that are be­ing put in place and trans­port com­pa­nies may be af­fected by the virus re­gard­ing avail­able staff, there could be longer de­liv­ery times in the fu­ture.

There­fore we rec­om­mend to place or­ders and/​or call off ma­te­r­ial sooner rather than later. Some car­ri­ers have an­nounced gen­eral price in­creases – it may mean we have to con­sider our pric­ing in the fu­ture to cover new ad­di­tional costs. We will keep all cus­tomers up­dated on this point.

Of course, Zanders is act­ing in com­pli­ance with the or­ders of the lo­cal and na­tional au­thor­i­ties. And we’ll do every­thing we can to en­sure the safety of our own em­ploy­ees as well as those of our cus­tomers and busi­ness part­ners. This is our top pri­or­ity.

We will mon­i­tor the de­vel­op­ments closely and keep all cus­tomers and part­ners fur­ther in­formed.
