Zanders again entitled as a specialist company according to WHG (Water Resources Act)
Independent inspection and maintenance of all pipelines, silos and tanks
Feb 25, 2021
Bergisch Gladbach. Zanders has again been designated as a specialized company according to WHG (Water Resources Act). The testing and maintenance of all pipelines and tanks for chemicals etc. may thus continue to be carried out by the company itself. According to schedule, experts from GTÜ Anlagensicherheit (German Technical Inspection Agency for Plant Safety) had inspected Zanders’ technical and personnel qualifications on site and issued the certificate, which is valid for a further two years, following a flawless result.
The German Water Resources Act (WHG) stipulates, among other things, that systems containing substances hazardous to water must be inspected annually or even semi-annually and maintained accordingly. This applies to all pipelines as well as containers, tanks, silos and catch basins for storing or filling chemicals, additives, oil, etc. As in previous years, the GTÜ experts confirmed: Zanders has both the necessary technical equipment and the qualified personnel for mechanical and electrical testing (mechanics and electricians) as well as for maintenance (e.g. welders).
